Privacy policy
This policy explains what happens to information when you use the PolishTools website and its browser-based tools.
Effective 17 October 2026Files and input used in the tools
Images, SVG files and source code, selected colors and coordinates are processed in your browser in every tool. PolishTools does not send input or results to, or store them on, a PolishTools server.
Resetting the tool or moving to another page releases its preview and temporary URL. Closing the page or browser lets the browser clear that session memory.
Website access information
To deliver and secure the site, hosting provider Cloudflare may process technical information such as an IP address, request time, browser information, and requested URL. This processing follows Cloudflare’s policies and retention practices.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page visits and loading performance. It processes page URLs, referrers, browser, screen and performance information without using cookies or browser fingerprinting to track individuals. We do not include filenames, images, SVG source or tool inputs in analytics events. PolishTools has no member accounts or its own access-log database.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
Tool and guide pages use Google AdSense to support this free service. Google and its advertising partners may process IP addresses, browser and device information, page URLs, cookies and similar identifiers to deliver, measure and personalize advertising where permitted. PolishTools does not send your selected files, filenames, SVG source or tool results to advertising services.
Google's consent management platform presents the applicable consent choices to visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland. Where available, use Privacy and cookie settings at the bottom of a tool or guide page to change or withdraw your choice. Declining personalized advertising does not disable the image tools; limited or non-personalized ads may still appear as permitted.
You can also manage advertising preferences in Google My Ad Center and control cookies through your browser. We do not currently use Google Analytics or send tool activity to a separate analytics service. Cloudflare processes ordinary delivery and security requests as described above.
Email enquiries
If you send an email, the sender address and message content are processed to reply and resolve the issue. Unless they must be retained to meet a legal obligation or handle a dispute, unnecessary information is deleted after that purpose has been fulfilled.
Do not attach source images or sensitive personal information to an enquiry.
Policy changes and contact
If the information processed or an external service changes, the effective date and details on this page will be updated. Privacy questions can be sent to privacy@polishtools.com.
