Load an image to inspect the top-left pixel first. Transparent pixels have alpha zero.
Click the image or enter X/Y. With the canvas focused, arrow keys move one pixel; Shift plus an arrow moves ten.
Add selected colors to the palette and generate JSON/CSS files. Copy copies the current pixel as a HEX value including alpha.

Copied colors use #RRGGBBAA. The final pair is alpha: FF is opaque and 00 is transparent. RGBA is also shown. Fully transparent RGB may become zero during decoding, so this cannot recover hidden colors.
No. The checkerboard only indicates transparency. Sampling reads source pixels and alpha.
If clipboard access is blocked, a notice appears. Select the value in the HEX field and copy it manually.
RGB is invisible at alpha zero and Canvas may normalize it to zero. It does not mean the image has a black background.
Separate source coordinates from display scale, then use the ruler, color picker and diff tool together.
